FAQ

Wouldn't a spa be nice. Something with a Mediterranean feel.

I haven't completed this page. In the near future I will post pictures of a bath that I did for a client.

Here are a few samples of my work. I have several portfolios prepared for your viewing.

Now here's the thing you'll like. Many professional decorative painters charge 150% the rate of conventional painters. I don't. Decorative finishes are still more expensive than conventional painting because they will take more time and the materials can be more expensive. But here is an opportunity to get world-class work at local-guy prices.

A few samples

This is an antique challis. It is about 14"wx5"h. It is pressed wood, painted gold and antiqued. There are many other designs that offer terrific decorating opportunities.

Faux bois

A burl with a border. Consider a panel over the fireplace. Very rich.

The electronic process this image has been through has degraded the image you see here.

Cherub

This is very special work. I'm told that Reba McIntyre has similar work in her home.

Mediterranean Style

This is also a glaze. But it is two layers which increases the visual texture.

Marble II

This is another sample that people like.

O'Villa for Allen

Color and texture; several layer of colored plaster. People run their hands over this textured finish. It may be my best work.

Art On An Old Wall

A beige glaze on a white base. I use similar techniques for unlimited finishes. Change the base color and glaze to create leather, or a beautiful mottled green. You'll see more of this technique. I use it a lot. It is inexpensive.

Carol's Moss

An example of my glaze technique using different colors. I've also textured this finish. The texture is represented by the shiny lines crisscrossing the finish.

Exposed Brick

Nice for a themed decor.

Sienna Marble

This is also a multi-layered glaze with a little veining added.

Ancient Art Revealed

This is one of many images that I put under plaster, only to have it revealed. One-of-a-kind decoration.

The people that wrote this book run a school in Floral Park, LI. I attended workshops on many different painting and plastering techniques. I also studied under Dean Sickler in Chatham, NJ. There isn't any better schools than these two.

Stripes a traditional favorite

Well, I have many more samples than I have room for on this site. I'd be please to show you my portfolio. 620-6300

On time, on budget, and exactly as promised.
